Lakes
The lakes are beautifully landscaped and incorporate bays, controlled weed beds, rushes and islands. The swims are large, safe and comfortable for a full day’s fishing. Both lakes have well-kept natural grassy banks with lovely views of the surrounding countryside. Llyn Lakes is a truly magical place to spend the day fishing.

Opening Times & Bookings
The fishing season is from: 1st April - 31st October (Time : 8am to 7pm)
By appointment only: 1st Nov - 31st March
Juniors under the age of 16 are welcome but must be supervised and accompanied by an adult.
Night fishing (7pm – 7am) is available by arrangement only. Night fishing is at the sole discretion of management and is limited to anglers who have previously completed day fishing trips.

Rules & Regulations
To ensure visitors’ safety and security and to maintain the environmental integrity of the area, the following rules and regulations are in effect at Llyn Lakes. All anglers and visitors must read and accept the terms and conditions before fishing or visiting the farm.
- Anglers & Visitors must adhere to the Welsh Countryside Code, which can be accessed at http://www.countrysidecodewales.org.uk/
- All vehicles must be parked in the designated parking area. No vehicles allowed near the lakes. Parking is entirely at owners’ own risk.
- All vehicle drivers must observe 5mph speed limit within the farm boundaries
- No angler or visitor is allowed to walk in the fields without owners’ permission. If permission to enter is given, walking will be at visitors’ own risk.
- Littering is prohibited. Anglers & Visitors must use the waste bins provided in the car park or take litter home.
- No swimming in the lakes.
- Environment Agency rod license is required to fish at Llyn Lakes (minimum 2 licenses for 3 rods). Anglers must present their licence for inspection prior to any fishing. You can apply for your licence online at: http://www.environmentagency.gov.uk/homeandleisure/recreation/fishing/31497.aspx
- No fishing without a purchased ticket. One ticket is required per angler. Tickets are non-transferable.
- Entry to bank for day ticket 07.30hrs, start fishing 08.00 hrs.
- No access to the lakes between the hours of 7.30pm – 7.30am, unless during management-approved night-fishing
- Night fishing (7pm – 7am) is by arrangement only and is limited to anglers who have previously participated in day fishing trips. Arrangement is at the sole discretion of management, whose decision is final.
- Removal of fish from the lakes is prohibited.
- All fish must be handled carefully and promptly returned to the water. Sacking is prohibited. All fish must be moved in sling or net - NEVER by hand - to avoid accidents.
- BARBLESS hooks only.
- No keep nets.
- Minimum line of 8lbs, NO fixed leads (semi-fixed is allowed)
- Maximum of 3 rods per angler allowed on bank (marker float allowed as extra).
- Nut baits and pure seed beds (e.g. hemp/ birdseed/ pigeon seed conditioner) are prohibited.
- Rubber/plastic/artificial bait (i.e. bait with no nutritional value) is prohibited.
- Unhooking mats and antiseptic (e.g. klinik or bonjela) must be used at all times.
- Dip tank instructions must be observed (for slings, nets and mats, if last used elsewhere previously).
- Reasonable net size for main lake 36" minimum.
- No anglers under 16 years allowed unless accompanied by an adult.
- No dogs allowed (day kennelling facilities are available for anglers and visitors at a fee).
- The management reserves the right to cancel reservations or refuse admission
- Payment is taken on acknowledgement of water rules/conditions. Failure to comply with terms will result in a ban- no refund will be given.
- All persons entering the site do so entirely at their own risk.
LLYN LAKES IS PRIVATE PROPERTY AND YOU ENTER ENTIRELY AT YOUR OWN RISK. MANAGEMENT RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REFUSE ENTRY OR ASK YOU TO LEAVE IF ANY RULES AND REGULATIONS ARE BROKEN OR DUE TO ANY INAPPROPRIATE BEHAVIOUR

Fishing Competitions & Clubs
The two Llyn Lakes can all be booked for matches on an individual or joint lake basis. Minimum booking is ten (10) pegs, unless otherwise agreed in advance. Final peg numbers must be confirmed 48 hours in advance of fishing. Fees will be charged for the confirmed number of pegs irrespective of non-attendance.
All match peg bookings fees must be paid on application.
Disabled & Toilet Access
Llyn Lakes welcome disabled anglers and visitors. We have at least three fishing hard standing platforms. These are accessible by electric wheel chair or arrangements can be made for assisted access on request.
Toilet facilities with hot and cold running water are available for all anglers and visitors. Toilets include disabled access.
